Well, in traditional Queensland fashion, I really don’t have much to say by way of introducing myself.

I mean, what is there to know? I am an Australian/Swedish freelance business developer, law enforcement and gender-based violence expert and screenwriter (really!).

There are four ‘categories’ for the various postings on this blogs, one dealing with Tehran/Iran related postings, one dealing with issues around gender-based violence, violence against women, human trafficking, sexism etc, one on various human resoyurce/careers musings, and one dealing with ‘things Australian’ including, for example, migration, the flag debate etc.

You can choose which category you view, by selecting the title from the menu bar at the top of the page (Tehran, Gender Equality, Australia)

Thanks to the small-minds out there who troll on gender issues in particular, I thought it best to deploy a Site Disclaimer and Comment Policy. I hope you like it!

And now for the blogs….

  1. Thanks for the ‘follow’ – much appreciated. My blog is still relatively new and unknown, so my early readers are very special 🙂
Hope you enjoy my posts, varied as they are.
I’m just checking out your blog too – well written, thanks for sharing.
    Uncle Spike.

  2. Your interprestation of many facets of Iranian life mirror mine, from my brief travels there in 2012. But, I am very interested to learn how a Westerner gets to live in Tehran? I would love to be able to spend at least a year there to learn the language and become immersed in the culture and way of life.

  3. Hi Brian. Really interesting perspective pn the earthquakes… Never thought about the foundations sitting in soft unstable ground… What a conundrum for all us apartment dwellers… Hmmm
